We advise you to order your wedding and evening invitations at least 5-6 months prior to the event. Wedding etiquette says invitations should be sent out 6 weeks before the wedding, although 10-12 weeks is more the norm these days.
Remember to order at least as many invitations as the number of households that you are sending them to and a handful extra to cover mistakes, forgetting someone important or if sending a later invitation to replace someone who cannot attend. |
